Then please specify it, so it can be set up by the admin.
If not, it needs to be created in a hierarchy like comp.

There is already comp.os.linux.misc, which covers all Linux
distributions.

comp.os.linux.misc may apply to all distributions, but doesn't contain
any Linux distributions.

What do you want another group that split the Usenet a bit more?
alt.* is full of empty groups that nobody uses, so it would be better
to use the groups that are already available if they are not too full.

Ask Distrowatch to write a script to request a ng for the distro that
tops their poll on a particular week -
comp.os.linux.$TOPPINGTHEPOLLTHISWEEK ? Should please all the users that
try one briefly, get bored and move back to Ubuntu.

Agree, I would like one too since I'm a MX Linux' user.
Maybe in comp.* hierarchy but not in alt.*???
