If we are going to get more activity, another popular language group can't
hurt.

Hold it. The hierarchy administrators haven't issued the newgroup
message yet. Ray processes checkgroups in administered hierarchies.

Have patience.

Sorry, I'm new around here. Maybe I tried to start the conversation in the
wrong place?

comp.lang.go has been proposed, but the hierarchy administrators haven't
sent the newgroup message yet.

This newsgroup, eternal-september.grouprequests, is the group in which a
user would ask Ray to create a group locally. It's too early to request
creation of comp.lang.go. A user doesn't need to ask for its creation
because Ray will create it locally once he processes checkgroups.

Typically, a user would request local creation of a newsgroup in alt.*
or free.* in eternal-september.grouprequests as Ray would not create
those groups without a user request.
